My Approach
- I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness, which means that I look at how all areas of your life are connected.
- Does stress at your job or in your relationship cause you to overeat? Does lack of sleep or low energy prevent you from exercising?
- As we work together, we will look at how all parts of your life affect your health as a whole.
- My approach is not to dwell on calories, carbs, fats, and proteins.
- I employ various approaches based on the client's desired outcomes.
- I work with my clients to create a happy, healthy life in a way that is flexible, fun and rewarding.
- Together we’ll work to reach your health goals in areas such as achieving optimal weight, reducing food cravings, improving sleep quality, and maximizing energy.
- As we work together, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of the food and lifestyle choices that work best for you and implement lasting changes that will improve your energy, balance and health.

Sugar Detox Review
I had the opportunity to participate in Karen's 5-week interactive (online) sugar detox program. Each week, she addressed a different subject and allowed us to asked questions of her about the advantages of healthy living. One of the most interesting and useful items she shared was interpreting sugar and other ingredients in everyday food and their impact on our diet.
She intentionally kept the group small so that we could also share our experiences (whether they be successes, challenges and/or general questions) with each other. If you couldn't make make the live session, it was recorded for viewing another time.
The best programs combine valuable content with an approachable, knowledgable presenter. Karen creates these programs and offers them to those who have an interest in healthy living. I am eager to do another program and I recommend that others do the same.
